Refine your look – without freezing your expression
Expression lines form gradually due to repeated movements of facial muscles such as frowning, smiling, or tensing the chin. These lines typically appear on the forehead (frown lines), around the eyes (crow’s feet), on the chin (pebble chin), and the neck.
Botulinum toxin offers a safe and effective way to reduce these signs of aging by gently relaxing the underlying muscles and smoothing the skin. The result is a more refreshed, rested, and youthful appearance.
At Cromme Aesthetics, we aim to preserve your natural expressiveness while subtly enhancing your appearance. With precisely tailored dosing, we ensure natural results never a frozen or artificial look.
Short fact: Botox® is a brand name by Allergan, other high-quality botulinum toxin products are also available
Botox® is the most well-known trade name for botulinum toxin type A and is manufactured by Allergan. However, in both medical and aesthetic applications, there are several other high-quality alternatives available such as Bocouture®, Azzalure®, and Vistabel®.
All of these products contain botulinum toxin A as the active ingredient, with slight differences in formulation and onset of action. At our clinic, we select the most suitable product based on your individual needs and aesthetic goals always with the highest standards for quality and safety.
In addition to classic wrinkle treatment, botulinum toxin is also used for:
- Meso-/Baby-Botox®: superficial Microinjections to refine skin texture and soften fine lines while preserving natural expression
- Bruxism: Treatment of teeth grinding by relaxing the jaw muscles
- Hyperhidrosis: Reducing excessive sweating in areas such as the underarms, hands, or feet
- Asymmetrie: for example after Facial nerve palsy (facialis paresis): Balancing muscle activity to improve facial symmetry
- Migraine: Botulinum toxin is approved for the treatment of chronic migraine – defined as 15 or more headache days per month, with at least 8 days showing migrainous features. The treatment follows a standardized injection protocol targeting specific muscle areas in the head, neck, and shoulders. It works by reducing muscle tension and blocking the release of pain mediators such as CGRP. As a result, the frequency, duration, and intensity of migraine attacks can be significantly reduced. The treatment is generally well tolerated and can be repeated at regular intervals.
