Dr. Felix Cromme: Who I Am – and why I became a Plastic Surgeon

I grew up in a family that moved frequently: new places, new people, new environments. What felt challenging at the time, especially as a teenager, eventually became one of my greatest strengths: I learned to understand people quickly, to empathize with them, and to recognize their needs. This experience shaped my sense of empathy, which remains the foundation of my work as a Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeon today.

During medical school, I became fascinated by the close and interdependent connection between body and mind. In surgery, I found the perfect combination of technical precision, anatomical understanding, and the opportunity to visibly enhance quality of life and well-being.
International experience in trauma and reconstructive surgery taught me how essential it is to unite aesthetics and function. My focus is not on “changing” someone, but on restoring and harmonizing.

Throughout my specialist training in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, I had the privilege of working at several famous clinics in Berlin, Brandenburg, and Hamburg.

Over time, my focus increasingly shifted toward the anatomical regions of the face, head and neck, and the breast. Intensive surgical training and constant exchange with experienced colleagues allowed me not only to master modern techniques and high-quality materials, but also to refine and perfect my aesthetic eye.

What drives me is the trust of my patients.
Every treatment begins with a intensive conversation, an open exchange about wishes, concerns, and expectations.
I see it as my responsibility to provide honest guidance, safe treatment, and results that feel individual and natural.

My philosophy can be summed up in three words:

“Trust. Safety. Empathy.”

They form the centre of my work: whether performing a minimally invasive treatment or a complex surgical procedure.

Today, I combine my surgical expertise with the mission of guiding people on their path to a natural and authentic appearance.
I am supported by my wife, Jennifer Cromme, a specialist in medical skincare who focuses on skin health and regeneration.
Together, we share the belief that true aesthetics always begin with mindfulness and a positive inner attitude.
